Lee Mathis & the Brutally Handsome are an East Texas force of nature — a road-worn, whiskey-honest band that's played dance halls, honkytonks, bars, motorcycle rallies, weddings, and festivals across multiple states, and never once played it safe.

They've opened for giants — Ward Davis, Whitey Morgan, Jason Boland, Josh Ward, Stoney Larue, Casey Donahew, Billy Joe Shaver, Johnny Lee, the Bellamy Brothers, and many more — and walked away with the crowd every time.

In 2019, the East Texas music community spoke loud and clear, awarding Lee & the boys Country Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year at the ETX Music Awards. A triple crown. All in one night.

Currently in the studio tracking their third full-length album — 14 brand new original songs, titled Pick Your Crazy — the band shows no signs of slowing down and every sign of leveling up.
